Visiting the Hart Museum Mansion
Entrance to the Hart Museum Mansion, located at the top of the hill in William S. Hart Park, is by guided tour only. Free tours are offered every 30 minutes during the Museum's hours of operation. The tours start on the hour and half-hour. Visitors are asked to park their vehicles in the lots near the entrance to the Park, walk up the hill to the Hart Mansion, and kindly wait outside the front door until the start of the next tour. The guides will open the door and invite the guests inside. William S. Hart Stairs

Museum Hours - Fall / Winter / Spring
               The following hours start the first Wednesday after Labor Day and run through mid-June:

               Public Tours
               Wednesdays - Fridays, 12:00pm - 3:00pm
               First tour starts at 12:00pm; last tour starts at 2:30pm

               Saturdays - Sundays, 11:00am - 4:00pm
               First tour starts at 11:00am; last tour starts at 3:30pm

               School Tours
               Wednesdays - Fridays, 9:45am - 11:30am
               Reservations are required.  Please contact the Museum to schedule your school visit.

In 2016 these hours will be effective on Wednesday, September 7, 2016

Museum Hours - Summer
               The following hours start in mid-June and end on Labor Day:

               Public Tours
               Wednesdays - Sundays, 11:00am - 4:00pm
               First tour starts at 11:00am; last tour starts at 3:30pm.

In 2017, these hours will be effective on Wednesday, June 21, 2017

Reservations for Tours
Reservations for the guided public tours are not required as a general rule.   However, reservations are required if a group of 10 or more guests is planning to visit, or if a guest requires special accommodations. The guided tour of the Hart Mansion is a 30-minute walking tour and includes climbing one staircase with 17 steps. The Hart Museum requires reservations so that accommodations can be arranged in advance of the intended visit. Reservations for visiting schools are required regardless of class size.  Please contact the Museum at (661) 254-4584 or via email at information@hartmuseum.org to schedule a tour for your school group.

Reaching the Hart Museum Mansion
Guests are asked to walk a 1/4 of a mile up the hill in Hart Park to the Hart Museum's Mansion for the tours. If anyone in your party is not comfortable walking up the hill, please call the Museum at (661) 254-4584 to make alternative arrangements.

Visiting the Hart Museum Ranch House
The Hart Museum Ranch House, located next to the picnic area in William S. Hart Park, is self-guided only, and maintains the same hours as the Hart Museum Mansion. Visitors are welcome to explore this historic ranch home and enjoy the exhibits at their own pace.

Visiting William S. Hart Park
Visitors are welcome to enjoy all the amenities in William S Hart Park year round. Please note, these hours below are for William S. Hart Park - these hours are not for the William S. Hart Museum, including the Museum's Mansion and Ranch House. Guests are welcome to enjoy the Park on days and times the Museum is not open.

Park Hours — Fall / Winter / Spring
These hours start on the Sunday Daylight Savings Time ends (in the Fall) and run until the Sunday Daylight Savings Time begins (in the Spring)

Park Hours — Summer
These hours start on the Sunday Daylight Savings Time begins (in the Spring) and run until the Sunday Daylight Saving Time ends (in the Fall)
